Gubi Pendant White Metal. Dimensions: Ø 36.5 x H 21 cm – Cable: L 400 cm max. – Ceiling rose: Ø 8 cm x H 4 cm. “Enter the world of iconic design with this reissued G10 lamp, designed by the legendary Greta Magnusson Grossman in 1950. This lamp was the tenth piece created by Grossman for Bergboms, hence the name ‘G10’. Originally from Sweden, designer and architect Greta Magnusson Grossman left Stockholm in 1930 to settle on the west coast of America. She introduced Californians to the unique style of Danish modernism, whose commander-in-chief is Arne Jacobsen. The G10 pendant is characterised by an industrial style with pared-back, clean lines while displaying a decidedly soft, elegant silhouette. Grossman would have been humorously inspired by the shape of the women’s hats of the time. The lampshade is in powder-coated metal with a matt finish. The opal glass diffuser provides bright, uniform light without any glare. Presented singly, on its own, or even in a cluster, the G10 pendant offers strong decorative values. It’s a true essential object for an aesthetic that still stands the test of time.”
