Signal Wall light – 2 arms – L max 60 cm by Jieldé Mat black

Jieldé Wall light Mat black Metal. Dimensions: Arm: Length 2 x 30 cm – W (ring) 12.5 cm – Reflector: Ø 10 cm – Wall support: Ø 6 cm. A real icon of French industrial design! Tired of searching for a lamp suited to his needs as a mechanist, Jean-Louis Domecq decides to draw his own lamp in late 1940’s. It has to be simple, robust and adjustable. In 1953, he creates a society called Jieldé to promote this lamp. The lamp Jieldé leaves its purely industrial context in the 1990’s and grows into a collection together with the Loft, Signal and Augustin lamps. Jildé lamps have become icons of French industrial art, and are still being produced in Lyon in the same production process as they have always been. Each of them is numbered and is thus a unique art object. “Signal” lamps, made entirely of metal, are proud of their original industrial design! For a perfect aesthetic look, there is no visible cable (electrical circuit is assured by intern connections in arms and diffusers). This wall lamp has two articulated arms (length of one arm: L 30 cm / length of both arms max.: L 60 cm) and a rotating shade (Ø 10 cm) allowing the light to be precisely angled. The timeless design will be amazing in any room of your house or an office. Signal lamps are available in a range of colours and types (table and street lamps, pendants, wall lights).
